From beautiful Walkerville to downtown Windsor- couldn't be a better time in my life to make the change.
Windsor is at turning point...
The Summer festivals are beginning and now that the hoopla of Red Bull Air Races (whew! and wowzers! ) are over, we can focus on a long list of community events that highlight Windsor and Essex County.
Like the Carousel of Nations-- a local crowd favourite showcasing multiculturalism in a celebration of food, dancing and sick bazaar shopping, which tends to include the out of place but ever existent-- novelty t-shirts, henna/airbrush tattoos and big dude shirtless with a sexy potbelly.

The Carousel of Nations will happen every weekend for the rest of June, featuring hot spots around the city, like the ever-pleasing Caribbean Village on Central Ave and my fave German Village at 55 Edinborough.
With the World Cup soon to be underway, Windsor's sure to see a lot of cultural pride and full bars, as beer will begin to be served at 10 a.m. during FIFA matches.
If you're looking for something other than an Erie Street experience, check out The Manchester on Ouellette.
I am not into soccer but beer at 10 a.m. makes me think of Vegas and we are considered the Canadian Sin City.. might as well hit up the bars early and stay late, maybe check out the new Symbol night club across from Starbucks...
I'll keep you posted....
